HI, I’M TIHANNA.

That moment when you walk away from an audience thinking, “Crap. I bombed it again”? That’s the part where I come in, ready to help you kick the self-doubt to the curb and replace it with full-blown “I’ve got this” confidence.

Because you do have this. You just need to believe it.

As a former broadcast journalist, communications executive, international speaker, public speaking trainer, and dreamer of possibilities… I’ve spent 15 years of my life building a (dare I say) very successful career.

Here comes the inevitable but…

I met people like Bill Gates, Kamala Harris, Bill Clinton, and Magic Johnson. I reported all over California from the frontlines of wildfires. I was at the first BLM protests.

And while I realized I had fearlessly fought for this career, I also realized that 15 years of dedication in this career was spent on “doing” and “having” more without spending the time on the things that actually mattered to me.

I might have been a super mom and a super employee, but not living out my passions made me feel… less than super.

Thankfully, personal development and transformation have always been embedded into the list of things I feel most passionate about. And these two passions are what ultimately helped make me a phenomenal speaker, presenter, and overall good communicator.

From the time I was an itty bitty, anxious six-year-old needing to shake my nerves while walking onto the theater stage to when I was a teenage dancer on the high-school pep squad to when I became a TV reporter speaking live into a broadcast microphone, the need to know how to transform into my most authentic self was always there.

My life showed me evidence that I could be one of two things: I could either be celebrated as a great talent or I could be “not enough” according to what I interpreted as the opinions of others. I was shown opportunity after opportunity of what it would cost me if I didn’t make the decision to be confident in myself. Let me tell you, I wasn’t going to allow that to happen.

I took the leap and stepped out on the leading edge of the .999% who know how to authentically engage and inform while being fully themselves. I decided to finally not give a sh*t about what other people thought of me.

Sure, behind the scenes I have sweaty palms and my head buzzes with a million thoughts. But the second I step in front of an audience, none of that matters. I can be confident just being who I’m meant to be.

And that’s the secret sauce... that’s what connects the audience to you.

And now, it’s time for you to step out on your own leading edge.

But to get out there, you must know there is no DNA marker for confidence. It isn’t something you’re born with or not. However, I believe that insecurity is a learned feeling - something we pick up from constantly interpreting our environment and our relationship to it. It comes from a place of judgement.

The good news is that YOU get to be the judge so you can interpret your environment from a place of positivity and security, too.

The confidence is there in everyone.

You just need the tools to be able to claim it and command it - in any moment. (You’ll need some solid speaking strategies of course, and I’ve got those for you, too.)

But what I need you to know most of all, is that the front of the room doesn’t have to be a scary place. It can actually be your feel-good place. The place where you show up as the expert everyone already knows you to be.
